Who We Are

Our Foundational Framework

Registered, rooted in Walvis Bay, and committed to mental wellness, protection and empowerment across Namibia.

Our Vision

A Namibia where every underprivileged community has access to mental wellness, protection from violence, and pathways to dignity — through compassionate, community-centred care.

Our Mission

To offer psycho-social support and counseling, wellness activities, soft skills training, capacity building and advocacy — partnering with stakeholders, local councils and authorities to fill community gaps and address social ills across the Erongo Region and beyond.

Core Values

Compassion

We meet people in their pain with empathy, patience and human dignity — never judgment.

Integrity

Transparent, accountable service rooted in registered NPO standards and community trust.

Inclusivity

Women, girls, youth, GBV survivors and vulnerable communities are welcomed and heard.

Empowerment

We equip people with skills, confidence and voice to reclaim their futures.

Community-Centered Approach

Programs are shaped with communities, councils and local partners — not imposed from above.

Hope and Healing

Restoration is possible. We walk that mile together, one heart at a time.

Testimonials

Voices from Our Community

Real stories from real lives touched by HWA.

Healingwound came at a time when I had lost all hope. Through their counseling and the HHM program, I found my voice again. I am now an advocate for other young women in my community.

Miriam K.

HHM Program Participant · Walvis Bay

The Hadassah Women Movement changed my life. I went from being a survivor of domestic abuse to a mentor helping other women rebuild their lives. Coach Flo believed in me when no one else did.

Sarah M.

Hadassah Women Movement Member · Swakopmund

My family was struggling to put food on the table. The feeding scheme at HWA didn't just give us food — it gave us dignity. My children now have hope for a better future.
